Aging course infrastructure gets a reinvestment that includes a modernized golf academy concept with technology-enhanced instruction like swing simulators or a lighted driving range.
During construction, golf operations continue uninterrupted through a temporary modular clubhouse facility sited elsewhere on the property, with phasing designed to keep as much of the course playable as possible. The permanent clubhouse, once rebuilt, anchors the experience with a pro shop, locker rooms, and a restaurant whose folding glass walls open onto an outdoor terrace overlooking the course. A food hall with micro-retail and local vendor space activates the ground plane alongside the clubhouse. Net-zero ready buildings use optimized massing, passive systems, and solar arrays on rooftops and parking carports. Structured parking integrates EV charging. Public trail connections along the course perimeter tie the community into Reston’s broader recreational network.
